"cent franc! cent franc!"

September 25 2017

Wow! It's kind of weird to think that when I will be home a bunch of people will be on missions. Eh, c'est la vie. I definitely agree that it is necessary to share our testimony of the Book of Mormon often. I get to do that a lot. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, that it is the word of God. And as dad said that means Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Church of Jesus Christ, the only true and living church on the face of the Earth.

Well, this week was a little slower. We had a lot of ratez-vous (the first time in a while). We are going to try and do splits with the ward this week. FR Ebibas came to church, finally. We'll continue to talk with him so that his faith may grow. We have a few new amis who were at church the other week and most of them are progressing: Fr Van, Sr Tressy, Sr Shequina, and Sr Fegie. Yep. We are seeing some other amis less and less, without of course leaving them entirely. Fr Ngakosso, for example. He is a nice old man but he doesn't keep his... I forgot the word in English... ah, commitments. Nevertheless we won't give up on him.

I'm glad Stacey does so many activities, that is something I wish I had done more. Also she is learning Japanese. Awesome. That is on my language list (1 French (acquired!) 2 Norwegian, 3 Hebrew, 4 Japanese)

I also found the shirt on the side of the road. kids were selling, so it was super cheap (they came up running saying "cent franc! cent franc!" when I looked around for the seller, then I saw the sign that said "cent franc" well, it actually just said 100, then I bought the shirt)
